The Scriptures
We believe that all of Scripturesinboth the Old and New Testament,to be the inspired word of God. The complete revelation of His divine will for humanity and is the utmost authority in all matters pertaining to our doctrine, conduct, faith and life.(2Timothy 3:15-17, 2Peter 1:20-21, 1Cor 10:11, Romans 15:4)
God (Godhead)
We believe there is only one Living and True God; One in essence, nature, and attributes, who revealed Himself as the Creator of all good things in Heaven and Earthbut eternally existing in a corporate Godhead composed of three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(1 Timothy 4:4, 1 John 5:6-7,Deuteronomy 6:4; Luke 3:22 2 Cor 13:14).
Jesus Christ:
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth(Luke 1:28-2:14), incarnate Son of God who died on the cross shedding His blood at Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins (1 Corinthians 15:3; Romans 4:25), By His resurrection He conquered sin, death and the devil(2 Timothy 1:10). He entered the heavenly Holy of Holies to make the final offering for sin and all of its effects(Hebrews 9:12). Having ascended and sat down at the right hand of God(Hebrews 10:10-14).We believe is the only way through which we receive righteousness, regeneration, sanctification, and glorification. He finished the work of salvation for us on the cross (John 19:30, Hebrews 4:3)and surely, He is our salvation. (1Corinthians 1:30-31, Colossians 2:9-10)
Holy Spirit:
We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit, and the endowment of His gifts to all believers which is expressed in experiences like speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (1Corinthians 14:1-40, Acts 1:8; 2:4; 9:17; 10:44-46; 11:15-16; and 19:6.).We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus, to guide the believer into all truth and to manifest Himself in all believers to minister as the Lord Jesus would to men. We believe the Holy Spirit enables all believers to live every promise of God fulfilled in Christ.(John 15:26 John 16:13-14)
Gifts of the Spirit:
We believe that spiritual gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit are available to all present -day believers for the common good and building up of others today. (1Corinthians 12:7-10; 14:1-40; John 7:38-39)
Water Baptism
We honor the baptism with water by immersion, signifying our death, burial and resurrection in CHRIST and that we have been raised with Him to walk in the newness of life. (Colossians 2:11-12, Romans 6:1-4)
Salvation
we believe in personal conversion, that one must personally place their trust in Jesus Christ to experience salvation. This salvation is a gift of God bestowed unto man separate and apart from the works of the law and is operative by grace through the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ producing eternal life. (Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 20:20-21; Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 2:20-21, 1John 5:11-13, John 5:24).
Righteousness
We believe righteousness is a free gift given to every believer. Therefore, every believer is qualified for all of the promises of God fulfilled in Christ and empowered to live in righteousness and minister in the power of God. (Romans 1:16-17; Romans 3:1-28; Romans 5:17; Galatians 2:21; Ephesians 4:24; 1John3:7)
Healing
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross has provided all kinds of healing for every human soul and body.(Matthew 8:16-17; Isaiah 53:4; 1 Peter 2:24; Romans 8:14).
The Church
We believe that the universal church is comprised of all true believers who have received salvation through Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23, Colossians 1:18-28,). We also believe in and encourage fellowship with a local church(Hebrews 10:25).We believe the church has a commission to equip saint for ministry.(Ephesians 4:8-16)
The Mystery of Christ
We believe and recognize the pre-eminence of the mystery of Christ revealed to the Apostle Paul as doctrine particular to the church in this present dispensation. (Acts 9:15, Ephesians 5:25 -32; Romans 16:25, Colossians 1:25-27; Ephesians 1:1-11, Colossians 2:2; Ephesians 3:1-12; Ephesians 6:19; 1 Timothy 3:14 -16)
The Resurrection
we believe in the resurrection and that ultimately, there will be a resurrection in which Christ shall change these vile bodies and fashion them like unto His own glorious body. Not all will sleep; there is a generation who will pass into life and immortality.(Romans 8:11, 23; 12:1-2; 1Thessalonians 4:13 – 18; 1Corinthians 15; 2Corinthians 3:18; 5:6-10; John 11:25; Colossians 1:9-13; Philippians 3:11; 2Timothy 1:10-11).
The return of Jesus Christ
We believe in a literal, physical second return of the Lord Jesus Christ.(Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 4:16-17 , Titus 2:13-14; 2Thessalonians 1:10; Acts 3:19-21; 2Corinthians 5:14-16).
Charity and Generosity
We believe in charity and generosity towards all men in all the earth as a demonstration of the love our God and Savior has for all humanity.(Gal 6:10; 1John 3:11-19;Ephesians 4:28; Hebrews 6:10; 13:16; Romans 12:13).
This doctrinal statement above does not exhaust the full extent of our faith. The Holy Bible itself comprises the sole and final source of all that we believe.
Inerrancy
We believe in the canon of 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God. We believe they are God-breathed according to 2 Timothy 3:16. No other book or group of books is a qualified authority for Christian faith, life and service. No other pattern of ministry, worship or conduct is acceptable for the born-again Christian. We believe the Lordship of Jesus is expressed through the written Word, therefore, deviation from the written Word is a departure from true Christian faith.
We believe the Bible, as spoken in the original language, is without flaw or error as rightly interpreted by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, all doctrine and interpretation must be dedicated to and consistent with the original languages as interpreted in their time.
Because Jesus and His priesthood are unchangeable (Hebrews 13:8, 7:24), we believe the New Covenant to be unchangeable. Therefore, the entire New Covenant as prophesied by the prophets, demonstrated in the ministry of Jesus, practiced by the early church and assured in the epistles is in effect today.
